WOYWW 64 Crazy Chaos

Well seeing as I came in dead last the previous week I thought I'd better try harder this go around ! I am a real night owl and the WOYWW blog goes up about 5 or 6 am our time which means I am just getting to some ZZZZ's.....so we'll see. This is my regular table and this week I was working on my first Tim Holtz tag for Compendium Of Curiosities challenge...which got scrapped! I found my travel iron that I bought on clearance and unearthed while organizing and my new Tattered Angel Glams got here and they are fun! I was brave enough to show you to the left which is where my shelves hold my Golden paints and my Tiki mug collection with all my brushes. Then...slowly turn to the right where all "he double hockey sticks" breaks loose. The epicenter of the chaos! I'm half mess...half organized today anyway. Anyway if you want to see what all the fun is about go visit Julia at The Stamping Ground .Can't wait to go snooping for real this week! Thanks !

I love seeing all of these work areas. I used to think I was such a slob because of my room but it seems that we all have desks that look messy. I used to think I had a problem because of buying and buying stash and saving it 9hoarding) and never using it, just keep adding more. But I see that comes with the territory too.

Hi Nan,

First of all, I have to tell you, your comment at Create WIth Joy had me ROFL - I know what you mean about trying not to dance in the aisles when you find a particularly good deal on a craft item - I would love to see what you do with your journal - do write me so I can see the pics when you complete your project!

Second, I scanned through all of your current posts while I was visiting and I not only love all of your gorgeous mixed media projects, but your studio is to die for! The thing that really struck me while I was looking at your photos was the vibrancy of colors jumping off of the screen! So much artsiness before you even begin to work! Your blog is definitely a reward for those WOYWWers who have trudged through the end of the lists!

Hugs

Congrats on getting in the top 25 this week, Nan. I bet lots of people become aware of you, now! And just think what all they get to see, too in your fun craft space.

Here in KS, (central time), Julia's post is around 2 am. So, you may have less time to wait than you think. It took me awhile to figure out the time difference, since she doesn't have a clock on her sidebar, but I think I'm getting it down, now.

Glad you stayed with WOYWW. I promise. This is addictive. I have over 450 Rocking Horses. I mentioned it one Wed., some asked, I did an entire RH post, and someone suggested I hide or put one or so in my post each week. That's my story, and I'm sticking with it (grin).

About the fabric, I wrapped it around some rusty pieces, put it all in a bucket, added water, and left it for two days. Not the same as rusting paper. I'll show the process next week, since so many asked about it.

OMGOSH! You had a Mina too. That is so cool. My daughter actually named her. We are both lovers of that book. After reading your profile more closely it really does look like we have a lot in common. Maybe your my east coast soul sister. By the way I love the water too--I always say I feel like a ballerina in the water. Take care and keep on creating Soul sister--Shawn
