Postcard Theme Gothic Arches

I never realized how much postal related ephemera and stamps I had until I started working on this challenge for Gothic Arches. I do tend to collect things like that and suddenly the collection takes on a life of it's own. That's why I've spent a good part of the year sorting and purging! I've been busy today playing in my cool art room after a blazing morning clearing off my back porch. I've just relaxed and played with paper, glue and stamps.....no big expectations....just having some fun !

As Long As There Were Wishes

Here is my fairy for Wednesday Stamper. This is a Character Construction stamp and the rest is part of a master sheet I made and cut up in mosaic pieces. Thanks for looking!

Wednesday Stamper Altered Book

This is for the Wednesday Stamper theme of mixed media. This is a page in my altered book that I finished up last night. I hope it counts as mixed media. I just love the stamps I used on this. But I love most of my stamps.....sigh...need a whole separate area outside my art room for them.

Theme Thursday Glass Menagerie Man

I have been enjoying doing some of the daily challenges.....it really pushes me to do something I like or has some meaning for me in one day...The theme for Theme Thursday was masculine so it was REALLY hard for me today! I like to make pretty things 90% of the time. Anyway here is my entry. It is on an old book cover with some chalk...stamping and I cannot remember where I got the photo but will gladly give credit if someone knows. Hope you are having fun creating!

The Hands That Give You Roses

This is my entry for Mixed Media Monday challenge. The prompt was hands. I haven't played in a while but I've always loved this saying. This is made with two playing cards, stamps, chalks and ink. Fun as always!

And They Danced By The Light Of The Moon

I found a new site I like called Lots To Do thru Heather Robinson's blog Creative Solace. I just love checking out her blog and seeing what the newest fun sites are. I really enjoy her art too. The challenge was a black and white art piece of choice so I had to put this up. I had a lot of fun stamping this. I seldom use stamps alone anymore but remember why I enjoy them so much.
