The theme of
Gothic Arches this week was Peace. I had to think beyond my instant image in my mind of a peace symbol....being a child of the sixties and seventies.... There is nothing that makes me feel more peaceful than being by the water listening to waves. I MISS the beach!
I am having fun doing some challenges but I can't seem to do them very fast...it's 4 pm here on Sunday and I am a straggler! By the time I get my pieces posted there are so many done. I'm going to have to pick up the speed!

Your creation is absolutely wonderful Nan! I so agree there is nothing more tranquil than sitting close to the water! I love your interpretation of this theme! Thanks for sharing!
Gorgeous arch Nan, I would just like to go and join her! Thanks so much for the hint on how to create a link. I am going to try it out. Do you think it works for other sites too?
Oh, I don't know that you're a straggler...glad you did...you did an absolutely smashing job! LynnF
Nan, you aren't the last to enter. Mine was done tonight.
Your arch is very peaceful. I love to hear the rain. When we lived on the west coast we could hear the ocean. Water is very peaceful.
Hey gal, I'm finally catching up with your blog again - wow, you've been busy! Congrats on being runner-up over at Mind Wide Open! Man, I thought for sure you had nailed it with that gorgeous dress. And I love your "man" piece - you did a nice job for coming out of the box! (I don't think I would have done as well!)
This looks soooo peaceful! Beautifully done.
I love the beach too, Nan, your arch illustrates it perfectly! You have other brilliant art on your blog. too!

Thanks for letting me know of the blog problem, maybe I should go to blogger and read up on it, but I always forget you can do that.
