Beautiful Day !

I really love April in Florida.....It's cool and sunny. things are blooming and green. Babies are being born... I've been away so many years in April and I always seems to miss the dogwoods blossoming and the miniature horses having their teeny tiny new babies and all the things that are so good here.
Today was a wonderful day. I had a great visit with Lucy who shared some wonderful techniques with me. I had someone renew my faith in people today and remind me that sometimes you just have to turn it over and have a little faith.(thanks Fredia!) I joined a new site called the Color Room. I was drawn by the name alone as well as the wonderful talent there. Color has always been a major inspiration to me. I finished a mixed media piece last night. I didn't love it but I am inspired and hopeful that I will find it easier as I stress less about my creativity returning (thanks LOML !) and when I get back to creating more regularly (thanks Lucy!)because a rusty artist is...well, rusty ! LOL!

Where in Florida? I'm excited to be going to Ocala tomorrow with my daughter's elementary class to Silver Springs. I can't wait to see all the beauty there this time of year. I'm glad you are getting back in the swing of things and creating. Just play and have fun.

Hi Nan,

First of all, I liked your mixed media piece a lot. :)

Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog -- I always enjoy getting feedback. :)

Since you were talking about (not) running off to Paris...
Currently, I have a little giveaway on my blog which is open until April 24.

Greetings from Munich,

good morning Nan,

How I always appreciate hearing from you - thank you for your heartfelt comment.

This collage piece is so pretty. I've so been wanting to find time to play with some mixed media (just for fun). Part of my process will be making that time.

Ya know, although we may sometime imagine we're the only one feeling this way or that - we are not . . .there is indeed comfort in knowing we are not alone, choices can be made, and tomorrow is a new day filled with possibility!

I hope today is filled (literally) with sunshine and blessings especially for you, Nan!
