He Went To Paris

I've been following Lynn Steven's Trash And Treasures site for a very long time and always find some lovely artwork or a cool link to something neat. I love Gingersnaps site that she designs for and this week found a great blog, Studio L3 , where they are doing a project a week based on the lessons in Tim Holtz's A Compendium Of Curiosities. This week was water stamping. It took me two days just to round up all my TH goodies and then another couple to get comfortable with my stamping techniques again. This is one of my fav TH stamps and the words are from a Jimmy Buffett song that I love.

Nan, I LOVE this! Your water stamping looks amazing, you used my favorite Tim stamp, *and* you quoted Jimmy Buffett...? You're my hero!

Thank you so much for joining the Challenge at Studio L3! I'm so happy you followed the trail from Lynn's place, and I'm really looking forward to seeing more of your gorgeous work!

Hugs,
Linda

I am so glad I stopped by. I just love how you did this tag. I use umbrella man quite a bit-often headless, but your tag has more depth to it than I have achieved. I love your use of colors too! Isn't this a fun challenge?

Hey, chickie! How've you been? I didn't know you were doing the T!m challenge! (Remember, you have to spell his name with a ! or the T!m Police will write you a citation.)

I LOVE the way your tag turned out. This technique took a bit of practice, didn't it? As in, LOTS. I'm impressed (get it? impressed?!) that you were able to get such good results with a stamp rather than having to "cheat" with a stencil, like certain other no-account types.

I also gathered all my T!m stuff in one place. It doesn't take up nearly as much room as I wish it did. :) Can't wait to see what you do with Fragments!
